Email

What are my incoming and outgoing mail servers?
All customers have private mail servers, so yourdomain.com would be used for both.

Can I check my mail on the web?
Yes. Simply use http://www.yourdomain.com/postoffice to access your email from anywhere in the world.

FTP

What is my FTP server?
All customers have a private ftp server, so the address would simply be ftp.yourdomain.com.

What is FTP?
A means of transferring files to and from the server. There are many FTP programs available, we recommend WS_FTP.

Web

Where do I upload my web files?
A folder named "www" in your private home directory is the root of your website.

What should I name my main/index/default page?
The webserver automatically displays any index.html, index.htm, or index.php it encounters within a directory.

Other

What shopping carts are available?
Miva Merchant and OS-Commerce are installed. Miva is polished and popular. OS-Commerce is free "open source" software. The free cart from PayPal also works great!

Do you support MySQL?
Yes. Both the standard and premium packages have full SQL capabilities.

Can I have shell access to the server?
Maybe. We do provide shell accounts to users who require it.
